Art Clubs

Treefrog Art runs increasingly popular After School Art Clubs in term time, working with small groups of children, exploring lots of different ways to be creative and looking at the history of art as we go. We collage, draw, cut, dye, make marbled paper, sculpt, paint and weave… We use toiling foil, pens, oil pastels, glue, mod roc, buttons, feathers, liquid watercolour….

Children in Year 3 and upwards are all given a sketchbook and encouraged to fill it! The sessions are fun, and designed to encourage children to use their imagination and push boundaries while learning new skills. Most weeks the children produce something to take home, although they also make collaborative displays, which are shown and celebrated in the school and the community.

Using a huge range of resources, I plan and teach all the sessions myself and enjoy building up a great rapport with the children as their confidence in their creativity grows.
